The area around Hafling and Voeran is a paradise for Mountain bikers. On various forest and high mountain trails one can reach the original Alpine mountain pastures and enjoy their unique panoramic scenery.
Voeran – Voeraner alp – Voeran
Length 22 km
Round trip with gorgeous panoramic view.
From the parking place above the guesthouse Gruener Baum (1317 m) you take the forest trail No. 16 to Leadner Alp, from here cycle along the left side until you reach Voeraner Alp (1317 m). The way back leads to Wurzer Alp (1707 m) and continues on forest path No. 2 , then branches off in the direction of the Brunner guesthouse, and finally back on trail Nr. 16 to the starting point in Voeran.
Cycling time: approx. 4 hours
Level of difficulty: medium
Altitude difference: approx. 520 m
Hafling – Voeraner alp – Hafling
Length 18 km
From parking place Nr. 5 below the parish church of Hafling (1300 m) one takes the Hinterdorfer way, then forestry trail No. 16 to Leadner alp (1514 m). Continue to the left on the forestry trail that leads to Voeraner alp (1873 m). From there it goes back down until at the right side, the forest path No 2 branches off, leading to Wurzer alp (1707 m). Please take care of the many hikers. The path is overgrown by roots, if it becomes too difficult, get off the bicycle and continue on foot. The way back follows the forestry trail to the starting point in Hafling.

Hafling – Kreuzjoechl – Hafling
Length 21 km
From parking place Nr. 5 below the parish church of Hafling (1300 m) one takes the Hinterdorfer way, then forestry trail No.16 to Leadner alp (1514 m). Continue to the left on the forestry trail that leads to Voeraner alp (1873 m). From there it goes back down until at the right side the forest path No 2 branches off, leading to Wurzer alp (1707 m). Please take care of the many hikers, the path is overgrown by roots. If it becomes too difficult, get off the bicycle and continue on foot. The way back follows the forestry trail to the starting point in Hafling.

Hafling – Wurzer alp - Leadner alp
Length 16 km
From the parking place of Hafling below the parish church you will reach the Wurzer alp by taking forest trail No 2A. From there, continue on the well signposted path W until you reach the Ross hut, then on path No 11 to Leadner alp. To return one has to cycle all along on trail No 16 to the starting point in Hafling.
Cycling time: approx. 2 hours
Level of difficulty: low to medium
Altitude difference: approx. 400 m
