Voeran

The small village of Voeran is located at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level and is part of the low mountain range of Tschoegglberg between the cities of Bolzano and Merano .The connections to the Etsch valley are either by ropeway or by a road that is easily accessible by car in winter as well as in summer.
Sun lovers will surely feel at ease in Voeran. The climate is very mild from springtime until late autumn and is a real inspiration for promenades and hikes. Cosy restaurants are perfect for a hearty "Marende", as the traditional light meal with cold cuts is called. A day of recreation can be concluded in a convivial gathering.
Winter in Voeran is just beautiful. The village is an ideal starting point for romantic winter hikes and promenades, and cross country ski tracks traverse the unique landscape that is well maintained by the local farmers.
